Christmas Card ~ A Little Sparkle {1st Post}

Oh my goodness where oh where did the week go?
Okay if we are being honest here where did 2014 go?
I remember when I was young my Mom used to
tell me the older you get the faster time seems to go?
Well Mom as usual you were right.

Mine week was spent working, creating cards for my blog and
doing last minute preparations for a bazaar I do each year.
The bazaar was yesterday and I'm happy to report it was a huge success.
I try to price my things at bargain prices so
everyone can get a little something for their loved ones.

I created my card using a new {for me} color combo.
I started out die cutting the tree from
foiled design paper and adding this pretty Verve sentiment.
Using the current Mojo Monday sketch I cut all the pieces to frame them up.
To my card finish up I added some brown and red sequins.

I tried to get this photo at an angle so you could see
the brown sequins and shiny foil in the design.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Sentiment from the Holiday Treats stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Tree cut using the Winter Fun Die Set from Verve Stamps.
*Sequins from the Hello My Name Is set from Teresa Collins.
*Design paper from The Foiled Elegance Stack from DCWV.
*Rich Cocoa stamp pad from Memento.

May your day always be filled with love.

  12. This is a great sketch to follow and I love your take on it D, but it is those beautiful papers that has caught my eye! Just gorgeous! I'm so glad that your baazar was a success!! Yes, I remember "older" people telling me when I was young that the time would go faster the older you got. And I remember thinking how can that be, a year is a year, a month is a month-that never changes. But oh boy were they right!!! I have no clue where 2014 went at all, but I sure hope 2015 slows down some. lol Hugs, Brenda
