4th of July Card ~ Lighthouse {1st Post}

OMGoodness I can't believe it is July 8th already.

I had plans to reorganize my craft space.

 I also wanted to play with some of my neglected crafting goodies.

But guess what I caught a summer cold.

Today I feel better so I made two cards.

First I stamped the lighthouse.

Next I masked off the lighthouse and stamped the clouds and waves.

Then I colored up the scene with my Copics.

To finish up I hand cut my sentiment banner.

Thank You Card ~ Wishing For Sunny Days

Happy Monday everyone.

I had fun playing with glittery paper and dies today.

I created a little scene.

I really wish I didn't suffer from such bad allergies and asthma 

so I could walk out there in my bare feet and pick those flowers.

Birthday Card ~ Blue Skies

Am I the only one that has issues with the 

colored Wink of Stella Glitter markers?

I finally invested in a couple since I LOVE my clear one.

I colored up my balloons and the colors were beautiful.

I can't get the green one to leave behind any glitter.

The glitter in the pink one goes down beautifully.

A few hours later when I got home and tried to take pictures 

the glitter was ALL gone and the colors had totally changed.

I ended up adding the glitter using my clear marker 

{I used regular white card stock on the balloons}

I took the last photo under a light so the glitter would show.

Okay on to my card.

I used a stencil and distress stamp pads to create my background.

I like how the texture looks on the watercolor paper.

To finish off I added the die cut sentiment.

I sponged the paper first so it would match the sky.

Birthday Card ~ Happy Tweet To You

I would like to thank Hazel of Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge 

for the beautiful glitter floral design paper I used for my background.
I won one of her challenges a while back and she sent the paper
pack all the way from the UK to me in the US.

I die cut the sentiment from the design paper and inlaid a purple cut into it.

To finish up I stamped, colored and die cut those cute little birds

Mother's Day Card ~ Flowers For Mom

The floral sets I played with today sure 

does live up to it's name, Versatile Vases.

I used the flower bunch to create my background.

Then I used it with the flower pot on my tag.

Next I colored them all up with some Copics.

To finish off  I backed the sentiment with an embossed strip.

This card is dedicated to my sweet mother-in-law.

She loved these colors. We miss you so very much.

Easter Card ~ A Splash of Purple

Happy hump day.
I am so excited today is Wednesday.
The pouring rain and wind is supposed to slow down today.
AND we are expecting a visit from Mr Sun tomorrow.
AND next week is spring break for me!!!

The challenge is to create using black, white and a splash of color.

I did a little masking where my images meet to help create a little dimension.

Next I colored two of the balloons black and white.

Then I added my splash of color to the third one.

Love/Valentine Card ~ I {heart} U

One of my newest crafting goodies are these cute LF alphabet dies.

I left the dies attached together and it worked perfectly for my card front.

I think I'm going to buy a second set of this alphabet set to break apart.

First I die cut the letters from the black panel.

Next I cut the I and U from red and inlaid the in place.

Then I die cut the red heart and added it in place of the O.

To finish up I colored up and die cut the bird to sit on the heart.
