Christmas Card ~ Pastel Celebrations

I have had this idea rolling around in my head for a few days
but wasn't quite sure how I wanted to complete it.
My idea was to cut the tree and stars from
the circles then back them with vellum.
Then I saw how Julee at Poetic Artistry had backed the circles on
her card with vellum circles that were a little larger than the
image circles and it all clicked. Thanks Julee for the inspiration.
Next I added a strip of vellum and the sentiment.
To finish off my card I added some shiny sequins.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Tree and stars {snowflakes} cut using the Winter Fun die Set from Verve Stamps.
*Sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Sequins from the Pastel Sequin Mix from Verve Stamps.
*Circles cut using the Nesting Circles die set from We R Memory Keepers.
*Vellum from my stash.
*Tuxedo Black stamp pad from Memento.

May your day always be filled with love.

I stamped the envelopes then fussy cut them out.

then finished up with "thanks ever so much".
to complete my card I added a trio of die cut stars to the corner.

Thank You Card ~ Thanks a Bunch

I would like to thank Julee at Verve Stamps for the
stamp set the beautiful flowers I used on today's card came from.
I was one of the lucky winners at Mojo Monday and
I got to choose any stamp set I wanted. Wow right?
I had a little time to craft today so
I played with this week's Viva la Verve sketch.
First I created a die cut frame then backed it with some
lattice designed vellum paper I've had in my stash forever.
Next I attached a ribbon and a bow to my card front.
I stamped the Verve flowers on a few die cut circles
then added a few Verve sprig die cuts to the side.
I finished off with a sweet Verve sentiment.
{I told you I was addicted to Verve. lol.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Flowers from the Be Blessed stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Sentiment from the Joyful Blooms stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Sprigs cut using the Sprightly Sprigs Die Set from Verve Stamps.
*Frame cut using the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More from My Creative Time.
*Circles cut using the Bunch of Fun Circles Dies from My Creative Time.
*Vellum and ribbon from my stash.
*Danube Blue, Grape Jelly and Tuxedo Black stamp pads from Memento.

May your day always be filled with love.
