Sympathy Card ~ For You

Sympathy cards are always the hardest for me to make.

 I think because it reminds me of those I've lost, how I felt 

at the time and how the recipient must be feeling now.

I fell in love with this embossing folder when I saw it.

I love how it adds a little soothing elegance to the card.

To finish my card I simply stamped the flower, 

colored it up and added a few rhinestones.

Just Because Card ~ A Pretty Trellis {3rd Post}

I did it! I did it! My goal this month was to not wait 

until the last minute to complete my progressive challenge cards.

My third card is created using one of the images 

from the Deedee's Digis April SOTM set.

Thanks Deedee for the sweet set.
This beautiful trellis can be used for so many occasions.
I'm thinking Mother's Day, sympathy, thinking of you.
The occasions and colors are endless.

Sympathy Card ~ Heartfelt Sympathy {1st Post}

It is Friday so that means it is time to share in a little Unity fun.
I'm playing along with their Friends With Flair challenge.
This is my first time to use this sweet stamp even though I've had it for a while.

Luckily I am not in need of a sympathy card at this time 

but I found that that is the best time for me to make them.

When I wait to make them when I need them 

it is so much harder for me to complete them.

I tried to keep it on the CAS side so the sentiment would be the focal point.

Sympathy Card ~ A Little Vellum

OMGoodness I can't believe it has been so long since I shared anything crafty.

Have you ever had those days when you get out your crafting goodies 

to play but then you just sit there and stare at them?

I have had one of those weeks. yikes.

I've been trying to work with vellum but find it quite challenging.

I really need to get some adhesive that 

works with out showing through the vellum. 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

First I die cut the doily with vellum.

Next I added and embossed panel.

I stamped the flower in light blue but next time I'll use a darker ink.

Then I used it's coordinating die to cut it out.

I added the sentiment to the flower center.

To add a little sparkle I used my Wink of Stella glitter brush.

To finish off my card I added rhinestones to the corners.

I have another card to share with you.
I wanted to make this one so it can be used for anyone
in need of support whether it be someone who is fighting
breast cancer or has lost someone to cancer.
It could easily be given to someone to
support them for another reason, too.

Friendship Card ~ I'm Here For You {1st Post}

I love this sweet sentiment.

It can be used for so many reasons and for me just says it all.

I stamped up the background then added a bit of the sun to the die cut circle.

To finish off I hand cut the banner to fit the sentiment.

Sympathy Card ~ You Are In My Thoughts

I made this card for a co-worker.

Her husband was hit and killed by an SUV on Wednesday.

It has been a difficult week.
Butterflies always remind me that the loved one
has now been freed of their earthly pain and
their souls are free to comfort us when we need it.
I hope this card will bring her and their four children a little comfort.

Two of my co-workers lost loved ones.

I made this card for one of them, who lost his

beloved mother-in-law, to share with his wife and children.

These cards are always the hardest for me to make.
