Thank You Card ~ Thankful For You {1st Post}

This week a lot of us celebrate Thanksgiving here in the US.

It is a wonderful time to remind us to thank 

those who touch our lives and make it a better place.

You my sweet visitors are some of those people.

Thanks so much for all the sweet comments.

I read and appreciate each and every one of them.

After coloring up this sweet basket full of goodies 

I added it to the weave embossed background.

To finish up I added the die cut sentiment.

Thanksgiving Card ~ So Thankful {1st Post}

I have a card that could be used for either as a thank you or for Thanksgiving.

I have always loved images of cornucopias. This one was so fun to color up.

Thanksgiving Card ~ Harvest Time

Last week our 1st graders wet to the pumpkin patch.

Seeing their cute excited faces as they told me 

all about it when they returned was priceless.

It totally reminded me of the good ole days hunting for
that perfect pumpkin with our daughter when she was little.

Thanksgiving Card ~ I Was Framed (post #2)

When I saw this little guy peeking from behind the frame this title just jumped into my head.
I made him with the same materials as post #1 changing up his colors a bit.
I tucked him behind the frame and attached it to the embossed card front.
Next I die cut the ticket shape and added the sentiment.
To finish it off I ran the tan ribbon across the bottom of the frame, tied a bow in the brown ribbon and attached it on top of the tan one.

Thanksgiving Card ~ A Grateful Turkey (post #1)

Hello everyone.  I hope your weekend was a good one.
Mine was wonderfully creative. I had 4 days off so I worked on projects for the blog and for the bazaar I'm taking part in in less than a month.
EEK! Not sure I'll be ready...

I made this turkey with all MCT die cuts {except the head, face and feet}.
I started with the circle and stamped the sentiment on his tummy.
Next I cut the scalloped circle and added it behind the circle.
I cut a bunch of 'feathers' using the smaller of the teeny tag dies.
He needed a head, feet and facial features so I cut them out by hand.
His little tummy was bare and these MCT button die cuts fit perfectly.
I added some pretty ribbon to the frame and embossed the card front with autumn words.

Thanksgiving Card ~ Thankful Turkey (post #2)

I have been wanting to make something with this little turkey since I first found him.
Next I added embossed autumn/Thanksgiving words to the banner and then added a wood grain background.
I knew this sentiment would be perfect so I stamped it up on this little punched oval.
Then I colored up the little turkey and punched it with a circle punch.
The turkey circle needed a little something to frame it up so I added this scallop circle.
The sentiment corner needed some color and these punched out leaves fit the perfectly.
To finish it all off I attached a little ribbon to the tag.

I gave this little guy his own color combo.

Thanksgiving Card ~ Leaves a Fallin' (post #1)

I had a little time to play today and got a few cards finished.
For the first one I used the sketch on Jo's challenge as my guide.
It worked perfectly with the Verve shape challenge.
I wanted to use a Paper Nest Doll image and found two that I wanted to create with.
{The second one is in the next post.}
Knowing that I wanted to go with the thankful, Thanksgiving and fall themes I got out my Cuttlebug cut and emboss to cut these sweet little leaves.
I colored up the image with Copics then cut it out with a circle punch.
Next I cut the scallop circles to finish up the frame effect I was going for.
The back ground is embossed to give it a little texture.
And to finish it off I die cut the banners and added the sentiment.
I hope this will express how thankful I am to have the recipient in my life.
