Easter Card ~ A Splash of Purple

Happy hump day.
I am so excited today is Wednesday.
The pouring rain and wind is supposed to slow down today.
AND we are expecting a visit from Mr Sun tomorrow.
AND next week is spring break for me!!!
I have an Easter card to share with you.
I used a cute and cuddly LF bunny to make today's card.

I created using the black, white and a splash of color combo again.
This time my color splash is purple.

Easter Card ~ Peek and a Sweet Memory {1st Post}

Isn't this the cutest little bunny.

When our daughter was a toddler she was obsessed with a video 

we had where a bunny kept popping up all over the place. 

Each time he popped up he would say was peek.

Our daughter thought it has hilarious and would laugh and laugh.

Her sweet little giggle made me one happy Momma.

Easter Card ~ So Egg-cited

It has been a while since I played with my Verve goodies.

To be honest my other crafting goodies were beginning to rebel.

Seriously there were talks of a strike, a walk out and maybe even a move out.

So I had to be a good crafty owner and let some other goodies out to play.

I made a little Easter shaker card. Surprise. lol.

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the eggs to fill it up.

I think this cute little chick is really SO egg-cited to see spring come.

Easter Card ~ Eggs In A Basket {2nd Post}

I had fun creating a little Easter scene card.

It is hard to see but the eggs, middle circle and rectangle 

are cut from glittery DCWV design paper.

I created my card using a ton of my My Creative Time goodies.

Easter Card ~ Lil' Bunny {1st Post}

I have been enjoying spring break.

Lots of time off to craft, craft, craft. Yipee!

I just got this sweet little bunny and knew in an 

instant I would use him to create my Easter card.

I embossed my background to give it texture 

and added some sponged color to all the edges.

Easter Card ~ Little Chickie {1st Post}

I have a little Easter chick to share today.

Each year the kindergarten teachers at our school hatch chick eggs in class.

This little guy reminds me of the children's excitement seeing them hatch.

First I inked up my embossing folder to create my dot background.

Next I die cut the circle shaker window and backed it with acetate.

I wanted the chick to pop so I backed the window with pink.

Then I framed the polka dot panel with a little yellow accent.

To finish off I added a little Easter sentiment.

I started by stamping the image on the design paper.

I stamped it again three times on white paper.

I colored them up, fussy cut the centers

then paper pieced them to the polka dot paper.
