Birthday Card ~ Sunny Florals {1st Post}

Happy Saturday. I just loVe the weekend.

It affords me a little time to get crafty.

Next Friday is our last day of school.

I've been real busy with end of the year things.

I've been packing up my classroom. Yep I am changing classrooms again.

I have a CAS birthday card to share.

First I stamped the floral stems then added a little green.

Next I stamped the flowers and die cut them.

To finish up I added that pretty birthday sentiment.

I have a thank you card to share today.

First I water colored  my background.

Next I stamped the sentiment.

Then I added the die cut flower.

The inlaid flower petal centers are 

cut using the same paper as my card base.

To finish my card off I added a few silver stars.

Birthday Card ~ Let's Celebrate {2nd Post}

And now for today's second birthday card.

I once again die cut balloons from felt.

The third one is cut from foiled card stock.

Next I stamped the sentiment at the top.

Then I stamped some musical notes and scattered a few die cut stars.

To finish up my card I added the twine balloon string.

Christmas Card ~ Snowpeep Shaker {2nd Post}

I created a holiday shaker card to share today.

I wanted my window to be a little different so I cut it using 

this cute floral die for that sweet little snowpeep to peak out of.

I added some seed bead and foiled die cut snowflakes.

To finish my card I added the framed up sentiment.

I have a bright and colorful thank you card to share.

First I stamped up my background using these cute stitched circles.

Next I colored up the circles with my new markers. :)

Birthday Card ~ Happy Birthday

OMGosh has it really been a whole week since I last shared?

The start of this school has been crazy...

Why oh why do teachers feel they need to pile on the perfume?

Do they really think the kiddos care?

I am one of those people who has severe allergic reactions to perfume.

My throat closes up, I loose my voice and it triggers my asthma.

And I get sick. Sadly I have been too exhausted to craft.

Anywhoooo... Today I finally had enough energy to make a card.

I embossed the sentiment background then distressed its edges.
To finish up I added a glittery flower die cut to the corner.

Birthday Card ~ Dancing Notes

OMGosh so sorry I've been gone so long.

Last week my hubby took the week off.

We spent it hanging out together.

We went to the beach for a couple of days.

We spent one day at the zoo hanging out with our grown daughter.

We rearranged our living room getting ready for new furniture.

Last night I decided I just HAD to do a little crafting.

I ended up making three cards. lol.

First I created my blue water color background with distress inks.

Next I die cut and added the three dancing musical notes.

To finish up I stamped and framed up the sentiment.

Sympathy Card ~ For You

Sympathy cards are always the hardest for me to make.

 I think because it reminds me of those I've lost, how I felt 

at the time and how the recipient must be feeling now.

I fell in love with this embossing folder when I saw it.

I love how it adds a little soothing elegance to the card.

To finish my card I simply stamped the flower, 

colored it up and added a few rhinestones.

I stamped the larger flower first then masked it off.

Birthday Card ~ My Friend

Oh my goodness where are the days going?

Mine have been spent working 11 hour days...

I am the building monitor for the day camp 

that is using our school for the summer.

We have been having 90+ degree weather here 

AND our building is not air conditioned.

Thanks for understanding if my posts have been spotty.

I have been doing a lot of falling asleep on my couch. lol.
