Birthday Card ~ Let's Celebrate {3rd Post}

For this little cutie I did a little paper piecing

then colored him up with my Copics.

I added sequins and glitter to the background.

I hand cut my sentiment banner

then tied it off with a twine bow.

Love/Valentine Card ~ Sparklin' Love {2nd Post}

Sparkler Ellie is back to play but this time her sparkler is shooting out hearts.
It's too cold for her to go out with no sleeves so I added them.
Next I gave her closed toe shoes and tights.
I used the teeny tiny hearts leftover when cutting the scalloped heart border.
For a little bit of bling I added the sequins
I tucked the sentiment under the embossed frame.
To finish the card off I added 3 metal hearts

For my second card I used a lot of the same elements but changed the image and die cut.
I gave this little guy his own color combo.

Thanksgiving Card ~ Leaves a Fallin' (post #1)

I had a little time to play today and got a few cards finished.
For the first one I used the sketch on Jo's challenge as my guide.
It worked perfectly with the Verve shape challenge.
I wanted to use a Paper Nest Doll image and found two that I wanted to create with.
{The second one is in the next post.}
Knowing that I wanted to go with the thankful, Thanksgiving and fall themes I got out my Cuttlebug cut and emboss to cut these sweet little leaves.
I colored up the image with Copics then cut it out with a circle punch.
Next I cut the scallop circles to finish up the frame effect I was going for.
The back ground is embossed to give it a little texture.
And to finish it off I die cut the banners and added the sentiment.
I hope this will express how thankful I am to have the recipient in my life.

Thinking of You Card ~ Pretty Pink Flowers (post #2)

Here is my 2nd card for today.
After I colored up this little cutie I covered the sparklers she is holding with this little bouquet of flowers.
I added the sentiment to this card by stamping up two of the background panels.
Then I embossed the larger oval frame to add some dimension.
It is my HOPE that this card will lift the spirits of the person who receives this card.
I always feel better when I know someone is thinking of me.

Thinking of You Card~ Pretty in Pink (post #1)

When I was looking through my Paper Nest Doll images to find one to add to this card this little sweetie screamed "color me pink!"
After I colored her up I added a little glitter glue to her purse so it would stand out and coordinate with the glittery ribbons on the design paper.
(sorry the glitter is not showing up in the pictures)
My HOPE when I made this card was that it would help someone who is fighting this awful disease to know someone is thinking of them and that they are not alone.

Get Well Card ~ Leaf Balloons

I replaced the balloons on this cute image with die cut leaves to give it an Autumn feel.
I thought this sweet little well wisher might brighten someone's day.
Right now I am fighting off what feels like my first cold of the season. Fun times.

Christmas Card ~ All Dressed Up (post #1)

For my first card today I used this adorable Paper Nest Dolls image.
I replaced the feathers in her hat with handmade holly and covered her lantern with a Christmas tree cut from the design paper.
I added a little glitter glue to the tree decorations to give it sparkle.
