A Mother's Day Wish

Today is a special day for me.
You see I have been blessed with the most precious of God's gifts.
A healthy, loving child.
Though she is an adult now I thank God everyday for allowing me to be her mom.
She is the most thoughtful, kind person I know.
There was a time I could only say I had once been blessed with a child.
My darling little Michelle I miss the wonderful person I know you would have become.

The soloist in this touching song is my niece. She has the most beautiful voice.
The song was written after the unforgettable tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary

If you have been blessed to have someone call you Mom.
Give them an extra hug and don't forget to say I love you everyday.
