Mother's Day Card ~ Flowers For Mom

The floral sets I played with today sure 

does live up to it's name, Versatile Vases.

I used the flower bunch to create my background.

Then I used it with the flower pot on my tag.

Next I colored them all up with some Copics.

To finish off  I backed the sentiment with an embossed strip.

This card is dedicated to my sweet mother-in-law.

She loved these colors. We miss you so very much.

Birthday Card ~ A Kitty For Your Day

I had so much fun sponging my background using a stencil 

yesterday I broke out another one to play with.

Next I embossed the center band with dots and zig zags.

Then I hand cut a tag to stamp Newton on.

I colored up Newton and added a sentiment to the bag front.

To finish up I added some beautiful twine I was 

lucky enough to win at one of Diana's DL Art challenges.

I created a card the other day using this washi tape. {here}

I liked the design so much I used it on this card, too.

I love the bright colors in this washi tape.
This time around I focused on the aqua and orange.

Birthday Card ~ A Little Kitty... A Little Coffee

Yipee my sweet hubby fixed my computer!

{It's cooling fan wasn't working.}

And I had a little time to create today. Life is good.

I had this crazy little idea that Newton needed
 a few coffee cups join him in his birthday bag. lol.
First I stamped, colored and fussy cut the bag and kitty out.
Next I stamped and die cut the coffee cups.
I did a little trimming to make room in the bag for the cups.
Then I added them all to the center of the doily.
To finish up I stamped the sentiment and added a few flags.

Years ago we had a cat who loVed to play in paper bags.
Our cat's name was Fido. My hubby named him. lol

Friendship Card ~ Hello Friend

I created a little using my water colors today.

First I painted the blue spring sky.

Next I painted then die cut the lush green grass.

Then I stamped, colored and fussy cut the 

flowers before nestling them in the grass.

To finish my card I framed up my sentiment.

Thinking of You Card ~ Hello, Hello, Hello {1st Post}

Okay I have to admit one layer cards are a challenge for me.

I do not add a ton of things to my cards since I need to keep them 

postal friendly but keeping them to just one layer is totally hard for me.

I decided to use my sentiment to frame up the jar and flowers.

To finish up I added Wink of Stella to the 

flowers and water then scattered a few sequins.

First I stamped the jars and added the flowers.

I colored them up then added some glittery goodness.

Birthday Card ~ Curious Kitties {2nd Post}

I wanted to create a one layer card using the making technique. 

First I die cut circles from three sticky notes.

I used the negative cut portion to stamp the kitties.

Then I placed the circles on and sponged the sky background.

To finish off  I colored the kitties up with my Copic markers.

Birthday Card ~ Bubbles and Balloons {1st Post}

I am kind of on a birthday card roll this week.

To create my background I inked up the bubble embossing folder.

Next I die cut the balloons and gave them some twine string.

Then I fussy cut the little kitty out after coloring him up.

To finish up I attached the kitty and balloons with foam tape. 

I can just imagine this little guy laughing and 

having so much fun chasing bubbles and balloons.
