Birthday Card ~ Celebration

Whooo who! Who is ready for a weekend? ME!!!
I started by inking up the embossing folder with the
inspiration colors then ran it through my machine
using white card stock to create my background.
Next I framed up the sentiment and added a trio of stars.
To finish off I added a star studded banner.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Sentiment from the Framed Florals stamp set from Verve Stamps. {Aug release}
*Frame cut using the Rounded Scallop Frame die from Verve Stamps.
*Banner cut using the Flag It Die Set from Verve Stamps.
*Embossed using the Ink Splat folder from Sizzix.
*Tangelo, Dandelion, Danube blue, Grape Jelly, Lady bug and Cottage Ivy stamp pads from Memento.
*Star sequins from Darice.

May your day always be filled with love.

  8. What a great technique you shared and I love the way your card turned out. The bold colors along with the white make it a really striking card. I like how you incorporated stars, which give it just the right but of shine (cause what's a birthday without a little bling?) You did a great job on this and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
