Birthday Card ~ Birthday Wishes {1st Post}

Welcome my sweet bloggie friends.
I hope this post finds you all happy, healthy and surrounded by loved ones.
Yesterday I spent the whole day hanging out with 6 of my 7 siblings,
nephews, nieces, great-nephews and a great-niece.
Thanks for letting me share my happiness with you.

Now on to my card.
Blue has been my favorite color since I was a child.
I decided to have a little go at a white and blue combo.
I added a little splash of green in by coloring in the stems.
I thought the flowing font of this sentiment went perfectly with the flowers.
Then I added a fluttering butterfly so he could enjoy the flowers.
I finished off my card and color scheme by adding green and blue sequins.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Flower and butterfly from the Happy Place stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Butterfly cut using the All Aflutter die set from Verve Stamps.
*Sentiment from the Doodled Occasions stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Pastel Sequin Mix from Verve Stamps.
*Design paper from Recollections
*YG11 and YG03 markers from Copic.
*Cottage Ivy and Danube Blue stamp pads from Memento.

May your day always be filled with love.
