Father's Day Card ~ Sailing Away

Hello everyone!
Hope your Friday is the best.
The first thing I'd like to do is thank Thia at Get Inky Stamps by Blue Moon Creations for the wonderful stamp sets she sent me. I was one of the lucky Get Inky Repeat Blog Hop winners. I won three adorable sets called Beary Special Cupcake,  Love Bugs and Sailboat. I used the sailboat, cloud and Happy Father's Day stamps from the Sailboat set for this card. Aren't they great? Thanks Thia!

Father's Day Card ~ Fishing With Dad (post #2)

I have a second Father's day card to share with you today
This time while I was looking through my stash of stickers that I seriously haven't used in two years I found these silver metal dots.
I knew these were the perfect embelishments to add to this card.

Father's Day Card ~ Starry Night Lighthouse

I had a friend who asked for some Father's day cards so I am working on a bunch this weekend for her to chose from.
I had this idea a few days ago but just couldn't get my crafty mojo going. I just sat at my crafting table and moved things around. I sketched out a few other ideas but nothing came together. When I'm like that it is just best to walk away and come back later. Last night I cut out a bunch of the Cricut cuts I needed for the sketches and was finally able to get a couple of cards to come together the way I liked.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front frames 4.25 x 4  in. and 4 x 3.75 in.
*Card front 3.75 x 3.5 in.using the Bo Bunny  Camp-a-lot 6x6 pad.

Father's Day Card ~ Father and Daughter

I have another Father's Day card to share with you.
Last year I purchased a bunch of  Cricut Craft Room digital single cut cards.
This card is made with one of those card cuts but after I altered it using CCR.
Instead of having my Cricut cut out the whole card I hid the card outline and welded a 5 x 3.75 in. rectangle to make it a card front instead.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front cut at 4 in. from the Cricut Craft Room Father's Day Card-Daddy/Daughter single cut.
*Pink cardstock added to the back of the card front.
*Hand cut little white bows for the shoes.
*Rhinestones added to the shoe bows.
*Sentiment from the Cardz TV "Happy Days" stamp set.
*Ribbon scraps from my stash.
*Foam tape under sentiment for added dimension.
