Christmas Card ~ All Dressed Up (post #1)

For my first card today I used this adorable Paper Nest Dolls image.
I replaced the feathers in her hat with handmade holly and covered her lantern with a Christmas tree cut from the design paper.
I added a little glitter glue to the tree decorations to give it sparkle.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Design paper strip from the DCWV Christmas Matstack 4.5 x 6.5 pad.
*Aristocrat Emma image from The Paper Nest
*Sentiment frame is cut from the Mini Bookplate Die Set from Verve Stamps.
*Sentiment stamp is from my stash.
*Scalloped ovals cut from the Spellbinder Big Scalloped Ovals Large die set.
*Glitter glue from Studeo G.
*Ribbon from my stash.
*CTMH stamp pad Ponderosa Pine.

May your day always be filled with love.
Hugs,
D~

  2. I love how you have altered your image. I would never have known that it wasn't always Christmas themed. I love how you have used the tree to pull it all together. TFS
