Birthday Card ~ Pretty In Purple (post #1)

For this card I went with a CAS card in all one color.
I had another idea for this card using the die cut that came with this folder but could not get it to go through my Cuttlebug.
The die just won't go through as if it is too tall. I'm going to call and see if it is a known problem. Maybe mine has a problem? I may try making some shims and see if I can get it to go through...
It has some gorgeous cuts I really hate to loose.


*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front 5.25 x 4 in. embossed with the folder from the Cuttlebug Persia cut and emboss set..
*Sentiment is from the Jaded Blossom Sweet Birthday Wishes stamp set.
*Sentiment frame is cut using the Verve Stamps Mini Bookplate Die Set .
*CTMH Grape Sherbet stamp pad.
*Ribbon from my stash
