Oh my goodness where did the last 2 weeks go?
As many of you are preparing yourself for your kiddos to go back to school {some of you celebrating it. lol} I have mixed emotions.
One the one side I will be going back to school to bright happy faces filled with stories to tell and new goodies to share. Oh of course sweet hugs that bring joy to my heart.
And the on the other hand as my 2 week vacation comes to a close so must my craft any ole time I want to schedule. I have loved having time to play with some of my new goodies. Sadly some of them just came a few days ago since I ordered them with Christmas money. {tee hee hee}
I used a lot of new goodies for this card and a few semi-new ones, too.
I started out by letterpressing the background with red ink and an embossing folder (new).
Next I stamped the sentiment (new) on the die frame (new).
I framed it up using the circles and Scalloped circle (both semi-new).
Then I added the wavy heart cuts (new).
Finishing off my card by adding a framed strip of washi tape then tucking the loved sentiment (new) underneath.
*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Hearts cut using the Wavy Hearts Die Set from Verve Stamps
*Sentiments from the So Fluttery stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Sentiment frame cut using the Mini Classy Label Die Set from Verve Stamps
*Circles from the Standard Circles Large die set from Spellbinders.
*Scalloped circle from the Big Scalloped Circles Small die set from Spellbinders.
*Letterpress embossed using the Darice Layered Heart Background folder.
*Black Dots smash tape from K&Company
*Stampin' Up real red stamp pad.
May your day always be filled with love.
Crafty hugs,
D~
