Christmas Card ~ Snow Excited (post #2)

We do not get much snow where we live so when we do the kids get all excited {and so do a lot of us adults to be honest}.
It always amazes me to see the beauty of a white wonderland through the eyes of the young.
Being a teacher and sharing those precious moments is truly a blessing.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front 5 x 3.75 in. embossed using the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirl folder.
*Sentiments along the border from the So Happy stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Snowman circles cut using punches from Ek Success and Creative Memories.
*Buttons and hat top cut using the Stitched Button Dies from My Creative Time.
*Scarf, hat brim, snowy ground and arms hand cut by me.
*Design paper from the My Mind's Eye The Merry Days of Christmas "Pajama Plaid" paper.
*Snowflake punch from Recollections.
*Peachy Keen face from the Winter Face Assortment stamp set.

  1. Beautiful! Love the swirl background. We had our first snowfall yesterday/today. 20cm on the ground. Guess winter has arrived :-)

  2. We don't get much snow either, maybe every few years and most times it doesn't stick. But everyone seems to be filled with excitement. Great card. You captured the wonder of a snow.
