One More Mother's Day Card (post #2)

One of the NSD challenges was one of my favorite type. A TIC-TAC-TOE one. I LOVE them.
And of course it gave a wonderful opportunity to play along with some of my other favorite challenge blogs.  Thanks for having them everyone. They have helped me keep my mojo flowing.

As I said the other day I took myself off my self-imposed paper time out to buy a 12 x 12 paper pad I fell in love with. I thought about this paper for 2 weeks before I went back for it. You'll be glad to know I'm back on my paper time out.

I've used this paper for a few cards now and have some more ideas for it in the works.
Here is one of the cards. I hope you like it.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front cut at 2.75 x 4 in. from gcdStudios Kathy Davis Fantasy Garden 12x12 pad.
*Card front cut at 2.5 x 4 in. then embossed with the Cuttlebug Distress Stripes folder.
*Large rectangle cut at 3 x 4 in. using CCR Basics cartridge from gcdStudios Kathy Davis Fantasy Garden 12x12 pad.
*Small rectangle cut at 2 x 3 in, using the CCR Basics cartridge then embossed with the Cuttlebug Love Language Combo folder.
*Fiskars corner punch used to round corners.
*Mother's Day sentiment from the Verve Stamps Happy Phrases stamp set.
*Sentiment stamped on smaller book plate from the Verve Stamps Mini Bookplate die set, then embossed with the cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.
*Larger bookplate cut from the same paper as the top card front.
*Rhinestones added to the body of the butterfly on the pattern paper.
*Ribbon bow and strip made with American Crafts ribbon.

I really love how this card turned out. I LOVE my new paper pad.
Thanks for stopping by. come back soon!
