One of my cards was chosen by the random draw for the Red Carpet Studios Easter challenge.
I was awarded a $30 gift certificate from Verve Stamps. I used it to get lots of goodies incuding the scroll die and sentiment stamps used on these cards. : )
I made two versions of the same card today and here is the story...
I wanted to use googly eyes on a card but wanted to try something a little different and outside the box so to say. I wanted to see how it would look to use the googly eyes for flower centers.
When I showed the card to my husband he said the card looked creepy with all those eyes looking at him. lol.
When I was adding the googly eye centers a second card idea came to me and that is how card #2 came about.
*Card #1 and card #2
*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front 5.25 x 4 in. embossed with the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirl folder
*Flowers cut at 10 in. from the Cricut 50 States cartridge.
*Faux stitching made using a purple Sakura Gell Roll Metalic pen.
*Scroll die cut from Verve Stamps.
*Darice Self Stick Gems.
