Multi-Colored Mother's Day Card (post #1)

Welcome everyone. Thanks for coming today!

I think this card has all the colors in the rainbow and then some.
One of the challenges for National Scrapbook Day was a huge stretch for me.
It asked for the following colors - Yellow (maize), Pink (fuchsia), Blue (sky) Green (apple), Purple, and Hibiscus (salmon/orange). If you have been following me at all you will know that orange isn't a color I usually use. I found this paper in my scraps and thought I can make this work.
Of course I added other elements for the other challenges I'm also entering it into.
Embossing, ribbon, bling, and the of course a Mother's Day sentiment.
I was kind of worried if all of these elements would all come together but I think it works.

*Card base cut at 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front cut at 5.25 x 4 in. and embossed with the Cuttlebug Scrollwork folder.
*Flowers cut at 2 & 2.5 in. from the Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge then embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.
*Yummy blog candy ribbon is from the  Really Reasonable Ribbon April Ribbon Club Assortment.
*Well loved blog candy sentiment is from the Verve Stamps Happy Phrases set.
*Bling Mambi Stones from Me & My Big Ideas.
*Paper from my stash.
