Daffodil Mother's Day Card (post #1)

Hello everyone. Welcome!
When I started making this card today I had a loose idea of what I wanted to create.
The finished card is nothing like the one I envisioned.
I drew a quick sketch of the unmade card when I finished this one and will give that idea a try in the future.
My idea was to use the scraps from the other cards I created in the past few days.
You know the pattern paper from that paper pad that enticed me to take myself off my paper time out.
I love how they work so well together and yet can be used easily on their own.

*Card base cut at 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Purple and pink rectangles cut at 4.25 x 2.5 in. and embossed using the Cuttlebug Palm Leaves folder.
*Pattern paper cut at 4.75 x 2.75 in. from the gcd Studios Kathy Davis Fantasy Garden 12 x 12 paper pad.
*Daffodil cut at 2.5 in. from the Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge.
*Happy Mother's Day stamp from the Verve Stamps Happy Thoughts stamp set.
*Rhinestones from Darice.
*Ribbon from Spool o' Ribbon.

May your day always be filled with love.
