Trying a new technique St. Patty's Day card

Hello everyone. Its me and I'm back with another St. Patrick's Day card.

This card has a technique I saw a while back but haven't tried it until now.

I needed a background and wanted to use one of the embossing folders I have but have yet to use.
(I bet I'm the only one of you that this has happened to. lol)

Here is what I did...
I took a piece of black cardstock and glued shamrocks around the edges.
(I didn't need them in the center for this card.)
After it dried I ran it through my Cuttlebug using a Sizzix folder I don't know the name for (sorry).
Then I trimmed it to the size I needed for this card. (5.25 x 4 in.)

I love how this turned out and will be using this technique for future projects.

Here is my card.
Thanks for looking.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Shamrock background 5.25 x 4 in.
*Shamrocks from Cricut Create a Critter 2 cut at 2 in.
*Sizzix embossing folder (? name)
*Sentiment stamp. (I think it is a Fiskars but unsure and ? name)
*Clover colored with Copic pen (YG03) outlined by Gelly Roll metallic green pen
*Green frame 4-1/8 x 2-1/2 in.
*Black frame 3-7/8 x 2-1/4 in.
*Inked all edges with black ink.
*Ribbon by Holiday Inspirations from Joanns.

Thank you for all of your sweet, kind comments.

  7. This is a great card. I love how you did that embossing. I wish Sizzix printed the name of the folder on the actual folder. I used to be really good about writing it on the folder but that got old ;).
