You're One Of My Nicest Thoughts

While I was working on a creation, to take a picture of, to use for my blog follower and Cricut message board pictures it morphed into a card.  Don't you love when that happens?
I wanted to do dragonflies and have been searching and trying out different ones with different medias and these are the ones I came up with.

I then went on to turn these lovelies into a card. Hope you like it.

When I stamped and then colored the dragonflies I thought they needed a little something so I added the gold outline to them and then to the flower.

 

One of my plans and promises to myself when I started this blog was to remember to publically thank people who have offered blog candy on their blogs. Whether it be for a blog hop, a challenge or just because they wanted to I appreciate each and everyone of you.
I have been blessed with some very nice blog candy and when I use it to create a project I will post that info on here so others will know of your generosity.

When I was looking for just the right sentiment for this card I decided to use one of my favorite sayings of all time. *Background design is a panel from the Cricut Craft Room 3-D Lanterns cartridge.

*Flower from the Cricut Easter 2010 cartridge.

*Dragonflies are a Close To My Heart stamp.

*I colored them in with Spectrum Noir pens (pink- PP3)(yellow- CT1)(blue- TB3)

*I outlined the dragonflies & the flower with a gold Gelly Roll pen from the Metallic set.

*The sentiment came from the amuse studio Sampler Set One set.
