I was so excited yesterday I recieved some happy mail so of course I needed to use part of it.
When I went to cut out this cute little tag I got from My Creative Time my Cuttlebug wouldn't work.
I could hear pieces rolling around inside her and the rollers would not engage.
EEEEK! As you know I LOVE to emboss my cards.
Cuttlebug Surgery |
How could this be? I can't live without my Cuttlebug and a new one really isn't in the budget.
I've had her for years so I knew she wasn't under warranty any longer so I figured what the heck let's open her up and see if there is anything I can do to fix her.
Poor baby! |
The poor girl had lost one of her gears. Is that like us loosing our marbles. Just wondering...
YAY!!!!! I fixed her!!!! |
I've had this card in the planning stages for ages now and finally finished it in the wee hours this morning after my Cuttlebaby was fixed.
When I took my card outside to take pictures of it guess what? I dropped it!
AND you guessed it. It landed face down right in the wet with morning dew grass.
Just like buttered bread....
I had to wait for it to dry so the waterstains wouldn't show up in the picture.
Luckily it dried out okay and the water stains are now gone. Whew. Thought I was going to need to redo it for a while there.
Thanks for looking.

How impressive that you fixed your bug! Yeah for you! I am worried about mine too...not sure how long they are supposed to last. I might need to try and buy some new plates first to see if that helps with cutting my Spellbinders. Great Easter card!

This was worth the wait. I love it! The embossing is fabulous. All the swirls work so well together. The morning dew thing cracks me up since there are only two things in my yard... SNOW and MUD. So if I were to drop it it would be N.A.S.T.Y.!
