A Little More Green

Here is a card that was a bit of a stretch for me. It is using ONLY one color.  As luck would have it Michaels is now making some of their paper in packages of 5-6 shades of one particular color. They now have greens, pinks and purples at my local store. I love having so many green choices to choose from. As spring approaches I'm sure all those different shades of paper will come in handy.

As I've said before I've not really done St. Patrick's Day cards before so all of the challenges I've been doing these last few weeks have really helped me to expand as a crafter. Check out my past, present and future posts for some links to some wonderful blogs. You can find so many talented crafters that way.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Embossed 5.25 x 4 in. layer using Cuttlebug Charles folder
*Hat is from Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge cut at 7 in.
*Hat belt is created by wrapping DMC embroidery thread around it.
*Shamrocks are from Cricut Create a Critter 2 cartridge cut at 1, 1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 in.
*I added faux stitching to add definition.

Thanks for stopping by. Please leave me a comment so I'll know you were here.
