Has this ever happened to you...?
Your project is nearly complete and then it happens...
...a falling ink pad ...a finger print usually ink related for me lol
...a blob of something unwanted usually glue related for me. lol.
That is exactly what happened to this card I created earlier this week.
Instead of stressing it I put it aside and made it again.
Now I am not one to throw things out. {Just ask my hubby. lol}
I scavenged the flowers and sentiment by cutting them out
and putting them together to create this card.
I even had room to add some Skittles. tee hee hee.
*Flowers from the Floral Bookmarking stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.
*Flower cut using the Floral Bookmark die set from Simon Says Stamp.
*Sentiment cut using the Happy die set from Simon Says Stamp.

Hi I would like to know how you made the happy stand out
ReplyDeleteI love the soft colors that you used, very pretty.
The happy part of the sentiment is a die cut. I think pink card base helps to make it pop out more.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty. I love those soft tulips. The colors are perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery cute card and great save on your boo boos. I have a hard time throwing my mistakes away too. My pen pal in Montana has a stamp that says it all, "It's not Perfect...it's Personal.

This is such a great card! I love the colors and all the embellishments just really do complete it. I think most if not all (I know myself) find it hard to throw stuff out or waste stuff. I have two big bins of scrap paper I have been using it but it just keeps filling up. Thanks for joining us at the stamping boutique challenge blog -Annalisa (DT)
