For my next card I went real CAS.
First I die cut the thanks line and added it to the base.
Then I stamped the flower and die cut it out.
I stamped the dot trio to finish off the flower.

Didn't this sweet little corgi make a good Father's Day card?

I inked up my embossing folder to create my background.

I have been having such a fun time with this technique this month.

Next I colored up the corgi and slippers.

OMGosh where did the month of May go?

I had a wonderfully crafty night last night hanging out in 

front of the TV with the family so I have a few cards to share today.
I started by coloring up this cute pansy filled teacup.
Next I broke out some Lawn Fawn and
Paper Smooches to create my sentiment tag.

Thank You Card ~ Huge Thanks {1st Post}

First I embossed my folder using yellow ink 

then rubbed the gold color on the raised parts.

I die cut it out to create my rising sun.

Next I cut the diagonal water and added the whale couple.

Then I added the seagull on the logs to one corner.

To finish up I created my sentiment using parts of three stamps.

Father's Day Card ~ Peep, Peep, Peep

I have my first Father's Day card of 2015 to share today.

I thought this little chick was so cute I made a row of them.

Of course they are all wearing ties. lol.

I embossed the background then inked up the wires 

with brown ink to help them stand out.

Birthday Card ~ Cherry On Top {1st Post}

Wow where has May gone?

I have a little koala birthday card to share,

First I colored him up then did a little fussy cutting.

The cute little cupcake is cut from some design paper.

To finish up I colored and fussy cut the cherry then 

placed it on top of the cupcake to match the sentiment.

Birthday Card ~ Bee-ing Together

I have been adding to my birthday card supply lately.

I tried a new to me technique to create my three tone background.

First I inked up my embossing folder with blue ink.

After embossing my card front I inked up the 

flowers by rubbing my ink pad over them.

To get my third color I simply left the rest white.

This sweet little bee family is going on a little outing.

Birthday Card ~ Birds On a Wire

I tried a new {to me} technique today.

I love to ink up my embossing folders to add color to my backgrounds.

First I inked up my embossing folder purple ink.

Next I rubbed over the raised numbers with a blue ink pad.

I love the two-tone effect it gave my back ground.

I die cut the sentiment to give my little birds a place to hang out.

Birthday Card ~ Birthday Bunch {3rd Post}

For my third birthday balloon card I took a little creative licence 

with the sketch turning it sideways and 

using the three balloons to represent the triangles.

This was really a creative stretch for me since 

I usually try to follow sketches pretty closely.

I left off the accent strip because I wanted this one to be real CAS.

I was real happy the string bow stamped so well over the die cut balloons.

I think this one will be going to one of my brothers {I have 4}

Birthday Card ~ Birthday Buddies

I would like to thank Gerda at Gerda Steiner Designs for these cute digis.

The elephant is a freebie this weekend so we can join her 72 hour challenge.
After I colored up the digis I fussy cut the elephant and
adhered him with foam tape to add a little dimension.
I think the little bear looks adorable peaking around the elephant.

Birthday Card ~ A Birthday Snuggle {2nd Post}

Do you recognize these sweet little birds?

I used them on my first card today.

When I copied them I wasn't sure which size I wanted to use.

These guys were printed really large by accident 

but then I decided I could trim them up and still use them.

After I colored them I added them to my black card base.

I really love how my mistake turned out.

Birthday Card ~ A Floral Snuggle {1st Post}

My sweet husband spent the morning studying...

Our daughter spent the morning sleeping in...

So what is a girl to do? This one spent the morning crafting.

I started by printing off a few digital images.

I colored them up with my new Chameleon markers.

Next I framed up the pansies with purple paper which helped them pop.

Then I fussy cut the birds and added them to one side of the flowers.

To finish up I stamped the sentiment with a Versamark pad and 

heat embossed it with the new black embossing powder 

I received as a prize from the wonderful people at Sparkle N Sprinkle.

Thanks so much it embossed the sentiment beautifully.
