This year I got money and gift cards to spend for Christmas.
I've been taking advantage of crafting goodie sales both online and in the stores.
One of my goodies is this sweet heart doily die.
I used it to cut the vellum heart for my card.
I stamped, colored and cut out one of the flowers from the With Gratitude stamp set for a little corner decoration.
The sentiment is also from that set.
I finished my card off with this pretty pink ribbon and bow.
*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Sentiment and flower are from the With Gratitude stamp set from Flourishes
*Vellum cut using the QuicKut Heart Doily die from Lifestyle Crafts.
*Ribbon from Little Scrap Pieces
*Copic marker R32
*Stazon Tuxedo Black stamp pad.
May your day always be filled with love.
Crafty hugs,
D~

The heart is beautiful. My first thought was wondering where you got the heart shaped doilies, but a die is so much better. A really beautiful card. Thank you for posting it with us at Word Art Wednesday, Blessings, Carole
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I`d never have thought that such an intricate die could be used to cut vellum! I`m going to have to give that a try. ;) I love the softness the vellum heart adds to the card, and the crinkled ribbonand soft coloring are beautiful with it. Thanks for joining us in the vellum challenge at Flourishes Timeless Tuesday...again! ;)
