Christmas Card ~ Christmas With a Twist (post #1)

One of my most favorite stamp companies is Flourishes.
If you haven't stopped by their blog or their store I'd like to invite you to.
They have beautiful stamps and a very talented design team.
They have weekly challenges, designer challenges, release challenges, blog hops and assorted other ways to win their stamps.
I made this card to play along with their October release Christmas With a Twist challenge.
What oh what could the twist be you ask?
It is to make a Christmas card without using red or green.
I immediately thought of their cute Snow Scenes stamp set I won playing along with their September release challenge.
It has this adorable silhouette stamp of kiddos building a snowman I just had to use.
First I stamped it, then punched it with an oval punch and sponged the edges.
Next I punched out a 3 inch circle and embossed it for dimension.
Then I finished off my ornament by adding a hand cut ornament top and hook.
To complete my card I used one of the snow/stars stamps in the set around the kiddos and snowman, to decorate the sentiment frame and to make my background.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in. .
*Snow scene and snowflakes from the Snow Scenes stamp set from Flourishes.
*Sentiment from the Country Time Christmas stamp set from Flourishes.
*Oval and circle punch from Marvy Uchida.
*Embossed using the Cuttlebug D'Vine Swirl folder.
*Tim Holtz Faded Jeans Distress Ink stamp pad.
*Stazon Tuxedo Black stamp pad.
*Adhesive Tombo Stamp Runner

May your day always be filled with love.
