Birthday Card ~ Flowers & Hearts (post #3)

Paper piecing sure does take a long time to create but the result is fun.
I originally started out to just paper piece Tilda's dress but ended up doing all of her. lol
This little Tida comes holding a pumpkin but I didn't want it so I covered it up with the bookplate.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front and dress design paper from the Recollections All Seasons pad.
*Happy sentiment from the So Happy from Verve Stamps.
*Birthday sentiment from the Happy Thoughts from Verve Stamps.
*Tilda with Pumpkin stamp from Magnolia Rubberstamps
*Basket from CTMH.
*Corner punch from Family Treasures.
*Flower punches from EK Success.
*Stazon Jet Black stamp pad.
*CTMH Real Red stamp pad.
*Petal Pink & White Opal Ranger Liquid Pearls for the flower centers.
May your day always be filled with love.
Hugs,
D~

  2. There were so many wonderful elements to this card! I can tell you put a lot of heart and soul into this one. I especially enjoyed the corner detail you made with the corner punch and I liked how you covered up the unwanted pumpkin with the bookplate. It takes a lot of thought to personalize cards and this card is an excellent example of that. The paper piecing you did was absolutely phenomenal and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us here at the Simon Say Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
