Notepad Holder ~ Sea Stars and Sandals

I had a little time to create today and wanted to get a little beachy.

Thinking of You Card ~ Hello {3rd Post}

Oh my goodness the end of June is here already. Yikes.

Each month I tell myself I am going to play along early 

with the progressive challenges I join in each month...

I download the wonderful freebie I am sent and even copy it.

Then life time flies and I realize I haven't played yet.
Here is the third of the three I have to share today.

First I colored up this sweet little hedgehog scene.
Next I cut it out using a stitched rectangle die.
To finish up my card I framed the scene with blue paper
then popped the panel up with foam tape for dimension.

Birthday Card ~ Ice Cream Anyone? {2nd Post}

Oh my goodness the end of June is here already. Yikes.

Each month I tell myself I am going to play along early 

with the progressive challenges I join in each month...

I download the wonderful freebie I am sent and even copy it.

Then life time flies and I realize I haven't played yet.
Here is the second of the three I have to share today.

First I colored up the image using a Neapolitan ice cream color combo.
Then I die cut the sentiment from pink and brown card stock.
To finish up my card I trimmed off the to you part of the sentiment
and overlapped them to create a shadow effect.

My Summertime Craft Space

This summer I am working as a building monitor 

for the day care that rents space in our school building.

Birthday Card ~ My Friend 2 {1st Post}

I totally fell in love with this stamp set.

I loVe the sentiments and cute flowers.

I stamped the larger flower first then masked it off.

Next I stamped the smaller flowers and colored them all up.

To finish off I added this sweet sentiment.

Birthday Card ~ My Friend

Oh my goodness where are the days going?

Mine have been spent working 11 hour days...

I am the building monitor for the day camp 

that is using our school for the summer.

We have been having 90+ degree weather here 

AND our building is not air conditioned.

Thanks for understanding if my posts have been spotty.

I have been doing a lot of falling asleep on my couch. lol.

I have a CAS card to share tonight.

First  I stamped and fussy cut the flower.

Then I added a little Copic color.

To finish off I stamped the sentiment stem.

Birthday Card ~ Have a Happy

Happy Monday everyone.

Summer is here in full force. We are in the upper 80s now. 

We are supposed to get to the upper 90s by Thursday AND 104 by Saturday.

I started with a water colored panel and framed it with a purple panel.

Next I stamped the sentiment and flourish element.

Then I die cut the butterfly and added its polka dot center.

To finish up I added a couple of strips of polka dot washi tape.

Birthday Card ~ For You {3rd Post}

Okay I really went with the white space on this one.

I'm debating whether to add a sentiment or not in the future.
I think the presents pretty much says it all so...
I used some of the left over cuts I had from my previous card 
to create the presents with a little design this time.
I was going to go with the white on white but decided 
to add a tiny frame to add a little pop of color.

I attached the design paper sentiment strip before 

die cutting the rectangle so the stitching would continue all around it.
Then I die cut the squares and added a little twine to create my presents.

Birthday Card ~ Banner Birthday {1st Post}

I've been having fun playing with this design paper and the bright colors.

First I cut my banner from this bright chevron paper.
 Next I cut along the bottom following the chevron lines.
Then I added the sentiment using the die cut design paper banner.
I backed the sentiment banner with a couple more die cuts.
To add a little decoration to the die cut the balloon I die cut the chevron dots.
To finish my card off I added the little twine balloon string.

First I started with the design paper background to help ground my card.

Next I die cut a circle shaker to draw your eye to the cute little girl inside.
My shaker is filled with tiny little beads and popped up with a foam circle.

Top Tip Tuesday Cut it out {die cuts}{tip}

Tip: Use fun foam to raise your shaker element. 

When using two circles to make a shaker window use washi or painter's tape to hold the pieces together. 

This will help to keep your circles straight AND allow you to cut the fun foam so it will line up with your window.

Birthday Card ~ Hooray {1st Post}

First I cut my three base color strips a little short to allow

the white to come through on the the horizontal lines of my card.
Next I die cut my balloon trio then added twine for their strings.
To finish off I attached them with foam tape for dimension.

I found this wonderful gold vellum paper today. 

It was in some stuff someone discarded at school.

I backed it with white card stock to allow the design to show.

Friendship Card ~ Happy Days {1st Post}

Today is the last day of school for our students.

The final week of school is both exciting and a little sad.

It is exciting because of all our students have accomplished 

and a little sad because it is time for them to move on.

We are having to do a lot of room changing this year so there has been 

a lot of packing going on which can be tricky since we are still teaching.

Packing time is not included in our regular work day so...

Did I happen to mention I moved classrooms last year, too.

 I will be one happy person when the packing is done. 

Yikes did I mention it all needs to be unpacked for the 

beginning of next year once the rooms are all cleaned?

I have to tell you I am one exhausted teacher. lol.

On to my card...

First I stamped up my coffee cup background.

Next I die cut the HAPPY die and added it to the base.

To finish up I stamped the happy days stamp in the center.

Happy summer vacation to my co-workers.
