Just Because Card ~ A Butterfly Hello

First thing to pop into my head when I first saw this sketch 

at Paper Smooches was soft, fluffy clouds.

I hand cut my cloud then embossed to add texture.

Next I stamped the butterflies on design paper and fussy cut them out.

I attached them with foam tape to add dimension.

To finish my card off I added the sentiment in the corner.

Love/Valentine Card ~ Caughtcha {2nd Post}

This little cutie caught a heart while ice fishing so I thought 

this would be perfect for a creating a Valentine shaker.

I added faux stitching to the sentiment rectangle to help it stand out.

Birthday Card ~ Sing A Song {1st Post}

I have a birthday card to share today.

I combined this cute Unity bird with a Cardz TV sentiment then added it 

to this fun Flip-its die set I only used once when I first got it months ago.

I inked up then embossed the scalloped panels with my folder.

I can just hear this little guy tweeting happy birthday.

Thinking of You Card ~ Hello {2nd Post}

First I die cut scattered circles in my panel and attached it to my card base.

Next I die cut the circles from design paper and placed them in the holes.
I think they kind of look a little like colorful paper pieced bubbles.

To finish off my card I added the die cut sentiment.

Birthday Card ~ A Balloon Assortment {1st Post}

I can always use birthday cards and most of my cards need to be 

postal ready so I tend to keep my layers and embellishments limited.

To do that with this card I used an assortment of design paper 

and embossed card stock for my balloon die cuts.

The balloons are anchored using my handwritten sentiment.

Thinking Of You Card ~ Just For You {2nd Post}

Guess what everyone? IT'S FRIDAY!!!
I  used my new distress markers to color on
the stamp then stamped it on the white rectangle.
I haven't used this technique in a
long time and love how the colors turned out.
I have been in a shaker card mood lately.
Hope you're not tired of them.

I'm trying to set up an inside photo area but need to work on the lighting a bit. 

We get a lot of rain so taking outdoor photos can be a challenge.

Love/Valentine Card ~ Love Is In the Air {1st Post}

Love is in the air. In this case literally. lol.
I die cut the word love from my card front then
 backed it with white to give it a cloud-like feel.
Next I stamped the heart flowers on the background.
I stamped, colored then die cut the penguins and
gave each of them a golden die cut balloon.
Then I stamped the bee trail from the Bee Mine
stamp set to create my balloon strings.
To finish off my Love Is In the Air theme I added
a little bee couple I scattered some little red hearts.

I used some dollies I got on clearance after Christmas 

and the love die I got yesterday to create today's card.

The heart is a from the center of a die cut I used on my card {here}.

The heart and love sentiment are attached with craft foam for dimension.

Love/Valentine Card ~ Bee Mine

I would like to thank the very sweet people at 

Marker Pop for the stamp set I used for my card today.

I was the lucky winner of one of their challenges.

This sweet Bee Mine set was one of my prizes.

I stared out stamping the background using the heart shape insect trail.

Next I stamped, colored and fussy cut the bees placing 

them inside the window grid I created overlapping the two grids.

I filled a few windows with the sentiment and added a few stamped hearts.

Love/Valentine Card ~ Felt and Sequins {2nd Post}

I played with my new felt again for this card.
This time I die cut the hearts from two colors of felt and
alternated the colors when I pieced one back together.
Next I added the pink sentiment.
To finish off my card I added three heart shaped sequins.

Love/Valentine Card ~ Love and Romance {1st Post}

The challenge over at CAS-ual Friday's is to use felt and sequins.

And boy do I love a good challenge.

Now sequins I have. Tons and tons of them. lol.

But I didn't have any felt to play with so I picked some up to play with.

For this card I cut some hearts from felt and some from glitter paper.

I used the largest ones to make my shaker windows.

Next I added the smaller ones and sequins inside the shakers.

Then I attached them to my love word embossed card front.

To finish off my card I added a few sequins in the bottom corner.

I have been having a lot of fun playing with this heart die.

This time I cut out the hearts using glitter design paper.

I added the sentiment on the white inlaid hearts,

It's hard to see in the photo but the white base is also glitter paper.

I used my old stand by Swiss Dots folder to add some texture.
