I made a birthday card for my project today.

 

Add a little bee or two and my birthday sentiment

could easily be replaced by

Mix a little sun in with the clouds and

from Tara's Summer Lovin' stamp set

would be the perfect fit.

Birthday Card ~ A Little Cake {4th Post}

This little guy is all ready to party.
Naomi at Creative Bug On the Loose
sent him to me to play along with her

I added a little digi dimension

by printing a second copy of the image,

I cut out the cake and hat,
gave him some balloon to share
and adhered them using foam tape.

Thank You Card ~ CAS Floral {2nd Post}

I once again tried the ombre technique

{gradual color change from dark to light}

but this time used it on the sentiment

to create my sentiment background.

Next I used it on the flowers and leaves.

I framed them up with some punched circles

and finished the card off with a ribbon/bow.

I like how it has a CAS look

but gets my message across loud and clear.

Birthday Card ~ Balloon Animal {1st Post}

When I first saw this CUTE balloon animal stamp

I knew I just had to have it.

It reminds me of carefree days of childhood.

I inked up my stamp and stamped this little guy three times

to get a gradual color change from dark to light.

I fussy cut and then added them with foam tape.

I used an edge punch to add the star border,

stamped the sentiment and added a few

negative cut stars from the border to finish it off.

Oh my where has the week gone?

I had huge plans to get a lot of crafting done.

Just Because Card ~ Spring Showers

Thank you Paper Pretties for this cute image.

I was the lucky winner of last week's challenge

and got to pick 5 digis of my choice.

 

As some of you know I teach small reading and math groups

so I spend a huge part of my life in an elementary school.

Watercolor paints are readily available there

but it has been years since I've used them.

I picked up a set this weekend to play around with.

I printed off the digi and then painted the rainbow background.

I finished by adding a little glitter to the flowers

{It doesn't show up well in this picture}

Friendship card ~ Hello There {2nd Post}

After I colored up the little duck

and flower I added a bow to the stem.

I cut out some of the tiny flowers from the background paper

and added them around the ducks feet and on the sentiment.

I finished it off with a little twine.
