Christmas Card ~ Holiday Tic tac Toe

I have another Christmas card to share with you.

First I stamped the image on the red paper then

I stamped it again on white with yellow, red and green.

I fussy cut the designs and attached them to the stamped front.

I framed it up and finished it off with a simple sentiment.

Up-cycled Project ~ Chevron Vase {3rd Post}

For one of the days during staff appreciation week

at school our students bring us a flower {or two}.

I made the next project to keep

some of those beautiful offerings in.

 

 

Tee hee hee all I could find to put in it this time of year

was these rhododendron leaves and a tiny daffodil who made an early visit.}

Up-cycled Project ~ For Baby {2nd Post}

I wanted to play along with a couple of
challenges making up-cycled projects.

For my first project I started with a glass baby food jar.

I wrapped blue washi tape around the jar.
Then I cut out and created this
sweet bear using my Silhouette Portrait.

I added him to the front and filled it up with Q-Tips.

Friendship Card ~ For My Friend {1st Post}

This sweet little kitty has a special message

of friendship to share.

I found this sentiment in my stash and thought

it would make a great sign for him to carry.

I found this glittery paper in my HUGE paper collection.

The flowers run along the bottom of the 12x12 page

with the sweet butterfly and dragonfly flying at the top.

I cut them out and added them with foam tape.

I tried to show the shine of the glitter paper in my second picture.

Thinking of You Card ~ I Miss You {1st Post}

Remember a few cards back when I used sentiments

from the Verve stamp set I recently won on Mojo Monday?

When I picked that set the first thing that attracted
me to it was this sweet envelope stamp.

After I got it I fell in love with the sentiments.

I love that they can be used in a multiple of combinations.
The sweet little flourish design is from another cute Verve set.
I added rhinestones to their centers and a
MCT stitched flower to seal up the envelope.

Wonder Where I've been???

Well I have been trying to catch up on my blog visitations for the last few days.

 

This morning when I started I still had 1604 bloggy emails in my in box.

And that's just the email I follow blogs on.

My other email accounts are filling up, too. lol.

 

I guess I could just delete them and start all over again

but I really want to see what all of you

have been taking the time to share.

 

{I just can't delete anything well except the Target ads. lol}

 

Please do not feel offended if I do not leave a comment on your blog.

I do look in on each of you {eventually}.

 

I have been going through emails for 4 hours now

and am down to a mere 1478. lol

 

I'm going to take a break to do some crafting real soon

so I'll be back with something crafty real soon.

I have another birthday card to share today.

I used scrap design paper along the right hand side

then found solid paper and markers to match.

I love the expression on this sweet bird.

This time when I added the sentiment I used two

circle punches to frame them up.

I finished my card up with a ribbon/bow.

Birthday Card ~ A Whole Lotta Red {4th Post}

For my fourth card I went for a different look.

This time I colored up three sets of the gifts.

Next I cut them out and overlapped them on a white strip.

Making a cameo appearance is this fun edger punch

I have had for a long time but haven't used for a long time. 

To finish my card I added it to a red card base.

Birthday Card ~ Silver Celebrations {3rd Post}

For my next two cards I thought it would be fun to use the

same image and see how different I could make the cards look.

For the first one I paper pieced the presents and gift bag.

I cut tiny spirals with a punch from foiled cardstock.

Next I added some silver sequins.

The foiled background is embossed with swirls.

To finish it off I added a bow and sentiment.

When I saw this set I was immediately drawn to the sweet envelope in the set.

I added the sun in the corner to go with the sentiment.

The challenge over at My Creative Time

is to use 8 of their product in your project.

Luckily when I asked Emma she said if we didn't

I started with the wood grain background and a Flourishes stamp set.

I love sunflowers and thought they would

brighten up the browns in my color combo.

I stamped them straight on the gold paper and then colored them up.

I stamped my sentiment the hand cut the banner around it.

I finished my card off with a ribbon/bow.
