Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

I just loVe the floral paper in the paper pad I used today.

The polka dots and the blue paper I used for my butterfly was from it, too.

I finished off my card adding a few rhinestones to the flowers and butterfly.

Thank You Card ~ Butterfly Rainbow {3rd Post}

I've had these rainbow inspired ideas 

whirling around in my head all month.

I finally had time to create a few. 

My 2nd post today and this one, too.

This time around I used butterflies to create my rainbow.

I added a few rhinestones to their centers.

Then added the sentiment to finish my card.

Butterflies always remind me of my Mom.

Whenever I see one I feel as though she is 

sending me a message from heaven.

Cherish your time with your Mom. 

I wish I had more time with mine.

Congratulations Card ~ Congrats {2nd Post}

My best friend is retiring from teaching this year.

I thought that a rainbow of congratulations were in order.

I added that sweet little PS pup because she loves dogs.

 I inlaid the sentiments in my black card front.

This took awhile but the effect is sooo worth it.

After I stamped up these cute pups on kraft I added a little Copic color.
Next I added the pups to my circles of alternating colors.

Birthday Card ~ Let's Party

Happy Saturday my sweet friends.

I have a birthday card to share.

I stamped up my line of elephants using the masking technique.

Then I colored them up with Copics.

Next I gave them each a die cut balloon and drew the balloon strings.

To finish up I stamped the sentiment along the border.

First I water colored  my background.

Next I stamped the sentiment.

Then I added the die cut flower.

The inlaid flower petal centers are

Then I painted a few of them up.

Birthday Card ~ Blue Skies

Am I the only one that has issues with the 

colored Wink of Stella Glitter markers?

I finally invested in a couple since I LOVE my clear one.

I colored up my balloons and the colors were beautiful.

I can't get the green one to leave behind any glitter.

The glitter in the pink one goes down beautifully.

A few hours later when I got home and tried to take pictures 

the glitter was ALL gone and the colors had totally changed.

I ended up adding the glitter using my clear marker 

{I used regular white card stock on the balloons}

I took the last photo under a light so the glitter would show.

Okay on to my card.

I used a stencil and distress stamp pads to create my background.

I like how the texture looks on the watercolor paper.

To finish off I added the die cut sentiment.

I sponged the paper first so it would match the sky.
