Christmas Card ~ Snow Friends {2nd Post}

OMGosh I can't believe Christmas is just 118 days away.

I have a little Christmas card to share.

I printed off this sweet image in two different sizes.

After I colored them up I fussy cut the 

smaller snowpeep out and placed him by his friend.

I finished my card off with a handwritten sentiment.

Thank you card ~ Framed In Black {2nd Post}

Thank you Card ~ Pretty In Pink {1st Post}

I was in a CAS creating kind of mood today.

I sat down with this idea in mind but couldn't decide on base colors.

I went back and forth for 25 minutes trying to decide whether 

I wanted the lined paper to be framed with pink or black.

What's a girl to do? Make cards using both colors of course.

On my first card I used the pink frame base.

I thought it would be fun to have the pencil 

look as if it had written the die cut thanks.

I had a fun time creating today mixing and matching

First I colored and fussy cut the surf board digi.

Birthday Card ~ Birthday Butterfly

OMGoodness has it really been almost a week since I posted last?

Where oh where did this summer go?

We spent this weekend at my father-in-law's house.

We had one of those rare warm sunny Oregon beach weekends.

He does not have internet access. I forgot what that was like. lol.

It was so nice to just hang out and talk.

I was able to read my daughter's latest novel rewrite. Amazing!

Her true passion is become a published author.

On to my card.

Here is my second birthday card today.
I drew the black lines on my background and then colored them in.

 I stamped the sentiment on one of the balloons in my
bunch again then tied a knot in their twine strings
This time around I kept the balloons plain
since the background is a little busy.

Birthday Card ~ Have a Sunny One

Wow yesterday was another crazy 11 hour day at work.

Too much happened to go into detail. Let's just say it was not restful. lol.

After work I hurried home took a quick shower then rushed off 

through Friday night traffic to attend my sister's 50th birthday party.

It was so fun to see friends that I haven't seen in years.

Six of my seven siblings were there which was wonderful.

Today we are attending a huge family picnic where 

I'll get to visit more with my sibs and see lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, 

their kids and their kids and in some cases their kids. Yikes.

I have a summer filled birthday card to share today.

I was gifted a ton of design paper, card stock, brads 

and other assorted crafting goodies this week.

One small box, one medium box and three huge boxes. 

My hubby said the larger boxes weighed 33 lbs. each.

It all came as happy mail. Thanks Sheri!

{I sure hope the delivery person had a hand cart}
