I have had this idea rolling around in my head for a few days
but wasn't quite sure how I wanted to complete it.
My idea was to cut the tree and stars from
the circles then back them with vellum.
Then I saw how Julee at Poetic Artistry had backed the circles on
her card with vellum circles that were a little larger than the
image circles and it all clicked. Thanks Julee for the inspiration.
Next I added a strip of vellum and the sentiment.
To finish off my card I added some shiny sequins.
*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Tree and stars {snowflakes} cut using the Winter Fun die Set from Verve Stamps.
*Sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set from Verve Stamps.
*Sequins from the Pastel Sequin Mix from Verve Stamps.
*Circles cut using the Nesting Circles die set from We R Memory Keepers.
*Vellum from my stash.
