Friendship Card ~ Hello World {1st Post}

The other day when I was searching for supplies for my classroom 

I came across a set of glitter watercolors at Office Depot.

I snapped them up one because the color shades were different than 

the ones I already have and also to see how the glitter worked in this medium.

I used the same floral embossing folder as in this card but inked up
the opposite side of the folder with blue ink to give it a watercolor sky feel.
I left the petals white and painted up the stems and flower centers.
Next I inked up the dot folder and added texture to some scrap paper.
I stamped these sweet butterflies, fussy cut them
and applied them with foam tape for dimension.
To finish off I added a sentiment using the hello die cut.

*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.

*Flowers embossed using the Large Daisy folder from Darice.
*Flowers painted using Glitter Watercolors from Prang.
