After stalking my mailman {okay I tracked it online} my 

Verve Stamps package arrived yesterday. {I ordered it Saturday}.

I fell in love with the sets I used today.

One of them is an older set and one is from their new release.

Thinking of You Card ~ A Simple Hello {1st Post }

I few years ago shortly before saying my final goodbye to my Dad 

I had gone out for a short walk to catch my breath and have a good cry.

It was a hot sunny January day in the Palm Desert area.

As I walked a small rainstorm came along to join me.

When I looked up there it was... a beautiful rainbow.

I knew in an instant just what that rainbow meant.

I rushed back to my Dad's bedside and told him Momma 

had sent him a rainbow from heaven to show him the way.

Later that night my Dad joined my Momma.

Now whenever I see a colorful rainbow 

I feel like it's them sending a little hello from heaven.

I water colored the stamped lighthouse to create my beach scene.

I added a little texture with my embossing folder.

To finish my card I tied off a ribbon bow.

Birthday Card ~ A Good Day {1st Post}

I played a little more with my water colors today.

 I painted the castle, palm tree, sea star, crab, pail and beachy background.

I embossed the card front after cutting the circle from it.

I tucked the beach scene behind the circle and

 then added the other beach goodies with foam tape.

I finished off my card with a ribbon bow

I began by water coloring my rainbow background.

I decided to give monochromatic a try.

I colored it up in green, added a green and white design paper frame

Christmas Card ~ Merry and Bright {2nd Post}

I just couldn't resist turning this beautiful ornament into a shaker card.

The red, green and gold sequins join this pretty Verve sentiment 

inside for a cheerful Christmas greeting.

I embossed the long red strip to give my card a little texture.

I continued the design inside my card by stamping two of the 

ornament top designs side by side and adding a single sequin to the center.
