Where did the month go? 

I have a feeling my summer vacation is going to pass by really fast.

I've been having a blast filling my days with crafting.

I used a brand new digi and embossing folder for this card.

I colored the bear and flower then added some glitter glue 

to the flower center but it is hard to see in this photo.

To finish up I addeded a sentiment that hasn't been used in years.

Thinking Of You Card ~ It's all About You {2nd Post}

I started by die cutting the heart from the background.

Nexts I die cut the sun from DP and tucked it behind.

Then I scattered a few die cut clouds.

I hand cut the banner to fit the sentiment 

and then finished off with a little die cut heart.

Birthday Card ~ It's Your Day

I haven't played with my ticket stamps and dies for a while 

so I thought I'd break them out and give it a go.

I used a ticket embossing folder that I've had for a year and just opened.

Just Because Card ~ A Flip Flop Day {2nd Post}

 Well it is definitely not flip flop weather here.

We are a week into "summer" but...

Can you see the problem? lol.

I used the flip flop design stamps that are in the set.

First I stamped the red ones straight on the kraft background.

Next I added the die cut straps and stars for decoration.

The tiny stars are gold metal glitter type ones.

For the blue flip flops I stamped then die cut them out.

I scattered some of the star dies and a few more gold ones, too.

To finish off I added this cute sentiment.

Maybe summer weather will come back soon.

Just Because Card ~ Amazing Summer {1st Post}

Let me start by saying a great big THANK YOU to My Creative Time's 

sweet Miss Emma for the CUTE flip-flops and sentiment I used for my card.
I was one of the lucky winners in her Flip Flop Blog Hop!
I got this ADORABLE set yesterday afternoon and couldn't wait to play.
I already had a few card ideas sketched out so after dinner
I set to work on some cards. Here is the first one.
I started by embossing my cloud background.
Next I die cut the MCT flip flops, umbrella and stars.
I LOVE how the smallest button dies fit perfectly as flip flop decorations.
I made an extended pole so the umbrella would work at the beach.
To finish off I scattered button stars and little gold stars.
Thanks again Emma. I LOVE this set!

Thinking Of You Card ~ A Note Hello {2nd Post}

I inked up my embossing folder and like the distressed look it gave my card.

I was going for a masculine look but really this card could be sent to anyone.

I used some of the scraps to add letters to the corner.

The cute little pencil from the set is a perfect pair for the envelopes.

Thank You Card ~ A Little Red White and Blue

I've been inking up my folders again.

I love how you can create multi-colored embossed paper this way.

I wanted to frame the lighthouse in a life preserver 

so I created it with two circle dies and colored its red stripes.

Next I wrapped twine around the center and tied some in a knot.

To finish off I added the sentiment die cut.

Birthday Card ~ Bot Planet {3rd Post}

I picked this design paper from my scraps because

it kind of  looked like planets and stars to me.

I thought it would make a nice backdrop for the cute little bot.

Next I stamped the bot then fussy cut him out.

I backed him with black card stock and fussy cut that, too.

Then I added stars to the corner with a punch.

To finish off I gave the little guy a few punched stars to hold.

This time I added a darker grey ink to the light grey card stock.

I even used one as an embellishment.

Next I stamped and colored the little bot.

Just Because Card ~ You Are... {1st Post}

Welcome and a very happy Sunday everyone!

I inked up another embossing folder to create my background.

{I'll admit I'm a little obsessed with this technique right now. lol}

I started with kraft card stock then inked up with the goldish color.

I think this sentiment about says it all.

Next I added a circle framed sunshine and a few embossed ones.

To finish off I cut the banner twice and trimmed down the kraft one to fit.

Birthday Card ~ Fluttering By {4th Post}

I'm sneaking in another card today. tee hee hee.

I started by cutting the circular chevron top section with a circle die.

Next I embossed the bottom section to add a little texture.

I hand cut the banner frame to fit the sentiment.

To finish off I stamped and die cut the three butterflies.
