Good morning!
Today is the day I get to share my
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog Guest Design card.
Thanks for the wonderful Guest Designer honor.
The challenge theme is one I'm sure all of you will enjoy.
It's Spring Cleaning: Use a cut or cartridge you haven't used before.
Now I must confess I am a Cricut cartridge collector.
I have 200+ and as you can tell by this picture I have
a few that I have yet to use so this challenge is perfect for me.
Okay I confess they aren't even open yet. {Shh! Don't tell my husband. lol}
I used one of those lonely little cartridges for today's card.
When the Create a Friend cartridge first came out I grabbed it up.
I'm a teacher and use my Cricut to create decorations for my classroom
and knew this one would come in handy for that as well as card making.
I started thumbing through the handbook {I LOVE the new ones}
and found the perfect cut to play with.
and found the perfect cut to play with.
Some of you may still be dealing with the cold snow,
while others are enjoying the warm sunshine
we are being blessed with rain, rain and more rain.
Rain is pretty typical in our area.
It is not unusual for us to enjoy a wet and soggy 4th of July.
I thought this card might brighten someone's day
while we wait for Mr. sun to come and play.
*Card base 4.25 x 5.5 in.
*Girl, umbrella and clouds cut at 3.25 in. from the Cricut Create a Friend cartridge.
*Sentiment, puddle and raindrops from the I'm Here For You Rain or Shine Stamp Set from My Creative Time.
*Face from the Happy Lashes Face Assortment stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps.
*Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad.
*Heavenly Blue stamp pad from CTMH.
May your day always be filled with love.
Crafty hugs,
D~
