Birthday Card ~ Patriotic Oliver (post #1)

I made this patriotic birthday card using this adorable Birthday Oliver stamp from The Paper Nest Dolls.
I used my star punch to add stars to the corners of the card front then embossed it with my stripe folder.
After coloring Oliver in good ol' red, white and blue I decided he needed to be surrounded by a little celebration so I added the tiny, tiny stars that were left when I punched the corners and then punched some red ones to add, too.
I needed to Verve it up a little so of course I used my cute Mini Bookplates to add my sentiment.
To finish it off I added a little red, white and blue twine to the top corner.

*Card base 5.5 x 4.25 in.
*Card front cut at 5.25 x 4 in. I punched stars in the corner using the EK Success Starry Night corner punch then embossed it using the stripe folder from the Cuttlebug Retro Kitchen set.
