3-D Book Decorations

Here are pictures of some of the parent volunteer lunch decorations I helped with. It was definitely a team effort.
Our lunch theme was "Volunteers are the Keys to our Future!". the books were used as centerpieces.
They are now going to be used to decorate our school office.

The boxes originally were covered by friends of one of my LOTO peeps and used to decorate a church event.
She was unsure what the boxes were originally. They had some twine and other decorations on them which the LOTO crew took off. They added the paper along the edges so the boxes could be transformed into books.
I used tons of Cricut fonts from many cartridges and welded them together using the Cricut Craft Room design program then we adhered them to the ends of the books.

Enjoy!

Here are the books in their new home.

*Cricut cartridges used Billionaire, Kate's ABCs, Extreme Fonts, Suburbia, Art Nouveau, Cursive 101, and Folk Art Festival. (Some of the words are facing the other way)
